RSVP here. \nGuest Speaker: Frederick Anlimah\, PhD (University of Wollongong) \nTopic: Control solutions for respirable crystalline silica to protect workers against exposure to silica in tunnel construction \n \nBiography: Frederick Anlimah is a Mechanical Engineer with a strong interest in protecting workers’ health and safety. Frederick’s career has involved promoting health and safety as a competitive advantage and increasing operational discipline in both underground and surface mining. Frederick has submitted a doctoral thesis for examination at the University of Wollongong\, Australia. His PhD focused on the methods for preventing respirable crystalline silica exposure in tunnel construction. Frederick is also actively involved in volunteering activities and is a member of Workplace Health Without Borders\, an NGO that focuses on providing OHS knowledge to marginalised community members. \nFrederick is a Safety Consultant for Compliance OH&S\, a leading consultancy firm in Australia. Compliance OH&S provides Occupational Health and Safety consultation services to government and private organisations.
