All tight fitting respiratory protective equipment (RPE) must be fit tested by a competent person. The Commit2Fit training and assessment scheme provides a platform to demonstrate competency and good practice. Commit2Fit covers two RPE fit tests methods Qualitative Fit Test (QLFT) and Quantitative Fit Test (QTFT).

This course is delivered remotely using an online platform and online workshops. It requires approx. 10 to 20 hours of self-study (depending on whether the candidate is new to fit testing – or has previous experience) and 8 hours of online workshops. The training course is completed in the first two weeks. Practical assessments are scheduled after the completion of training course; 1 hour per method to be assessed and must be completed within 3 months of attending the training course.

Note: Fit testing equipment and facilities are NOT provided as part of the assessment scheme.
Candidates are responsible for ensuring they have access to all fit testing equipment they wish to be assessed on.

Non-Members: $1025 + GST / $1150 + GST
Re-sit Theory Exam NZOHS Members and Non-Members: $100 + GST
Re-sit Practical Exam NZOHS Members and Non-Members 1 method/2 methods: $425 + GST / $550 + GST.
