OHTA NZOHS Celebration

24 February 2025 marked 10 years since NZOHS became an OHTA Approved Training Provider (ATP), allowing NZOHS to deliver OHTA courses in New Zealand.

We couldn’t have done it without the support from OHTA and from AIOH who supported the first trial OHTA course delivered in New Zealand under the AIOH ATP umbrella.

It has taken an incredible amount of work, volunteered hours, and determination to evolve the occupational hygiene profession in New Zealand. Several NZOHS members committed significant time to make the OHTA training modules a career pathway for occupational hygienists in New Zealand.

We wanted to celebrate this milestone and thanks again OHTA and AIOH for the support over the years.

We will continue to offer these courses, with the great level of professionalism, integrity, commitment and passion as we have done for the past 10 years.

The first trial OHTA course (W503 Noise – Measurement and its effects) delivered in New Zealand under the AIOH ATP umbrella, in October 2013.
